Thousands of individuals are given the opportunity to designate us as the beneficiary of their payroll deduction contributions at their place of employment. This option is offered to Federal, State and Municipal employees and to many employees in the private sector as well.
Federal employees will find Susan G. Komen for the Cure® listed as an option in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Please locate Komen in the Alpha index or the federation index under CancerCure of America, listed as "Breast Cancer, Susan G. Komen for the Cure®". Our CFC number is 10615.
In addition, we participate in numerous state, county, municipal and university employee campaigns.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is a new member of Community Health Charities which offers payroll-deduction giving options to employees in a number of private firms.
If your local United Way campaigns do not list Komen, you may write in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate on the pledge card, along with this address: 2025 W Oklahoma Avenue, Suite 116, Milwaukee, WI 53215.
Increase your donation with employer matching funds. Many employers will match your personal donation. Check with your company for more information on matching gift programs. Employer matching gifts may also be available to you if you are the spouse of an employee, a retired employee or the spouse/widow/widower of a retiree.
We are a proud member of Community Health Charities of Wisconsin (CHCWI), a federation that provides access to workplace giving campaigns for its member health agencies. Through its membership, the Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is included in both public and private workplace giving campaigns that reach over 800,000 employees throughout Wisconsin Workplace-giving campaigns allow employees to contribute from their paychecks through payroll deductions that enable a desired gift to be contributed each pay period. These campaigns allow employees to specifically choose Susan G. Komen for the Cure as the beneficiary of their contribution.
CHCWI distributes these contributions directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. CHCWI’s role is to facilitate contribution efficiency and make connections between employees and our members.
CHCWI represents over 50 Wisconsin health agencies, including the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and they are looking for opportunities to open new workplace campaigns in order to increase the amount of funds made available to its members. You may be able to help CHCWI grow.
