We have a new Race course this year which begins and ends on the Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery World Campuses on Milwaukee’s Lakefront. Click here for a map of our Race Course.

We encourage those who will not be able to participate the day of the Race to get involved in other ways:
1. Make a donation to someone you know is participating.
2. Make a general donation to the Race.

Is there Race day parking for participants?
There is free parking for everyone, click here to download parking information.
Parking is at your own risk. Komen Milwaukee Race for the Cure® is not affiliated with any parking lot/structure
Will there be somewhere to check my belongings during the Race?Free Gear Check is available for all Race participants. You can drop off and pick up your items near the starting line from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Click here to see starting line area.
Where can my out of town guests attending the Race stay?
We have compiled a list of local hotels. Hotel reservations and stay is at your own risk. Komen Milwaukee Race for the Cure® is not affiliated with any hotels.

Do I have to run?The Race includes a 5K Wheelchair Race, 5K USATF Timed Run, 5K 5K Walk and a 1 Mile Walk. Participants have the option to be timed in the 5K Run.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are NOT permitted on the grounds because of health and safety regulations.
Can I bring a stroller?Yes. However, for safety reasons, participants with strollers are asked to line up behind all other participants without strollers.

What do I do if I make a mistake when registering online?To contact us email mkerftc.reg.chair@gmail.com letting us know how we can help.
If I mail my registration form, how long does it take for me to view my registration online?It will take approximately 14 days to enter your information into our online registration database.
Do I have to register an infant or toddler? Can I bring a stroller?Children under the age of three may participate free of charge, however, no t-shirt or bib will be provided. Please note: For safety reasons, participants with strollers are asked to line up behind all other participants without strollers.

How do I get my T-shirt?1. BEFORE Friday, September 4: Select the "Mail my T-shirt" Registration type for Adults or Children (an additional $5) on the registration site. We will start mailing shirts on September 10th. Please let us know if you have not received your shirts by Thursday, September 24. If you have selected the Sleep In for the Cure® registration option ($30 fee), your t-shirt will be mailed a couple weeks AFTER the Race day (Sept. 27).

2. AFTER Friday, September 4: Visit our Pre-Registration Events at The Pettit National Ice Center in West Allis:
** Team members must obtain T-shirts and bibs from their team captain if they have not paid an additional $5 to have their t-shirt mailed or have selected the Sleep In for the Cure® registration option ($30 fee).

3. AFTER, Saturday, September 26: Pick your shirt up on Race day at the Registration Tent (7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.)
T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed and supplies are limited. For the best selection, you may want to consider the mail my T-shirt on-line option or visit a pre-registration event.
Can our team's name be printed on the Race t-shirt?
No, Race t-shirts are printed with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® logo, local and national Race sponsors. If desired, teams are welcome to produce their own team t-shirts. How do I enter a donation to my Team (rather than an individual) online?

Is my Registration Fee tax-deductible?
Because you will receive a t-shirt and other items when you register, the registration fee is not tax-deductible. However, if you are making a donation through the Race (i.e. a pledge via a walker or a donation if you cannot attend the Race) then that is tax-deductible

How do I receive my Pledge Program prize?
All money must be turned in before or on Race day to qualify for pledge prizes. If you plan to mail your pledge checks, please mail by Friday, September 18, 2009. Pledge prizes are only available on Race day for pick-up. Please note all prizes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is a limited supply of each item. Donations received after Race day are gratefully accepted through October 14, 2009, but will not count toward a pledge prize.

To facilitate processing mailed in checks, log into your personalized headquarters. After entering your user name and password, select the MY PROGRESS button. Then select ENTER GIFTS RECEIVED OFFLINE link and enter the applicable information.
All mailed in checks will be entered online increasing your total pledges. It is VERY important to include a completed pledge form when sending in checks.
Is a minimum donation amount required to participate in the Race?
There is no minimum, however, we are asking all participants to set a personal fundraising goal of at least $250. Our Race is a fundraiser, awareness-raiser and celebration of survivors and an honor to the memory of those who we have lost.
