In order to be considered for Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® 2012-2013 grant funding, a Notice of Intent must be submitted by Friday, October 14, 2011. Click here for the Notice of Intent Form.
The Susan G. Komen for the Cure® promise is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
To fulfill our mission, the Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is currently accepting grant applications for evidence-based strategies and promising practices to reduce breast cancer mortality through early detection in our eight-county service area which includes Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha counties. Priority consideration will be given to applicants proposing services to the target populations of White women and African-American women in Milwaukee, Racine, and Waukesha counties as these women have the highest incidence of and mortality from breast cancer in our service area, based on data from the 2011 Komen Community Profile.
