Breast Health Speakers

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate offers a volunteer speaker's bureau that provides educational information on breast health and breast cancer for organizations, businesses, schools, and community groups free of charge.

As an organization actively involved in the fight to eradicate breast cancer through research, education, screening and treatment, we at the Komen Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate believe our speaker's bureau is a valuable service to the community and crucial to the support of our mission.

The bureau consists of trained volunteers, many of whom have been personally touched by breast cancer, who come prepared with educational materials to share our life-saving information and personal stories with you. We strive to recruit speakers who are representative of the communities they will serve and to reach out to underserved populations.

Our speaker's bureau illuminates the realities of breast cancer,  breast health awareness , and outreach programs, providing help, answers and inspiration to those touched by breast cancer.

Become a Breast Health Speaker

Komen offers a free training for individuals involved in health education and outreach. It includes the latest and most accurate research-based breast health information with presentation materials and formats that can be used with a variety of audiences. Komen provides front-line educators and advocates with the tools they need to dispel myths, share science-based information about risk factors and carry the life-saving message of early detection to medically underserved groups.
