Thanks to more than 100,000 survivors and activists dedicated to the breast cancer
movement. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is a unique grassroots network working
in more than 100 U.S. cities and three countries.
Up to 75% of an Affiliate's net income stays in the community to fund local breast
health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs.
The remaining net income (a minimum of 25%) supports the Komen for the Cure Award
and Research Grant Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious
awards and educational and scientific programs around the world.
